As part of the branding team at 2x4, I developed a comprehensive identity refresh for the Smithsonian’s Freer | Sackler Galleries. The system introduced a core color palette inspired by James McNeill Whistler’s iconic Peacock Room, paired with an updated logomark and a new typographic system. I established a robust toolkit of strategic messaging and layout templates to ensure a unified institutional voice across all gallery environments, communications, and wayfinding signage.
