As part of the Branding team at 2x4, we created guidelines to re-fresh the identity of the Smithsonian's Freer | Sackler Galleries in Washington DC. The guides incorporated a core color palette drawn from James McNeill Whistler’s iconic Peacock Room, an updated logomark and visual hierarchy; new strategic messaging in bold typography, layout templates, and more. The brand also appeared across all way-finding signage and gallery environments.
