As Director of Visual Experience Design at Local Projects, I collaborated with leadership at MoMA and our internal team to identify navigational friction points and architect a supplemental wayfinding system. The objective was to enhance the visitor journey through a framework that is highly accessible and welcoming in both voice and design.
By extending the museum’s established visual identity, we developed a robust toolkit and set of guidelines that remain in institutional use today—successfully orienting visitors across every floor of the museum.
